Michelle Nixon Memorial Fund
Michelle Nixon was a dedicated supporter of the Norma Leah Ovarian Cancer Initiative and the LGBTQ community and passed away on January 29, 2021, after a long, courageous battle with ovarian cancer. This memorial fund is in honor of her devotion to helping others in the community.
The Michelle Nixon Memorial Fund has proudly partnered with the Norma Leah Ovarian Cancer Initiative to provide financial support to ovarian cancer survivors and LGBTQ+ cancer patients who need assistance on their journey to better health.

2022 Donation in memory of Michelle
$1,000 donation of toys for children at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital
In 2022 a donation of $1,000 in toys was given to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. Michelle was able to bring a smile to so many children with this donation.
2021 Scholarship Awarded

A scholarship was awarded in the amount of $1,000 to Black Hawk College student Andrew Davis in Michelle's memory.
